This is too close for anyone to drop out. Even the Obamatrons have stopped suggesting it.

Hey! We agree on something in Free Speech Alley, Red. She should definitely see it through.

Bandit, you wouldn't be hoping that they keep fighting each other so it'll help McCain, would you? :yelwink2:

Nah. I'm not sure it benefits anyone but Clinton, to be honest. I just don't see a reason for her to bow out while there's any chance at all. I think Obama is vulnerable enough for Clinton to remain hopeful.

I was only a newborn at the time of the '68 Dem convention, and nearly every one since then has been a coronation, not an actual convention. I hope she stays in because it could make for some interesting political entertainment. :hihi:

And yes, I'm voting for McCain. :thumb:

She will stay in because she has to pay herself back, I think she should stay in. However, it will be an Obama-Hillary ticket, Im calling it now.

I don't think so. She'd be marginalized as VP and she knows it. No, Obama badly needs her 47 percent of the Democratic party vote, especially the labor vote, which could go over to McCain. That power base is going to buy her a big role in building the democratic platform in return for her endorsement. She can parley this campaign into being a major force in the Senate for the next eight years and use her endorsement to gain special access to the White House.
