Yes, I am serious in asking this question.

Considering they didn't beat a top 25 team (by season's end) and the 3 tough games on their schedule were all blowouts (embarassingly so, at that), would you rank ND in your top 25?

I say not no, but hell no.

Definitely not in the top 20 but without looking I'm not sure about top 25 but very likely not.....sad thing is next year they will be WORSE! and better not come out in the top 15 preseason.

If the question was top 24 I suspect I would have answered differently.

Yes, so LSU will have beaten another ranked opponent.

Think about it though. It's a legitimate question and that's a shame to have to ask about a BCS participant.

The 3 teams they lost to were top Five teams. ( at one time in the season ) USc is definately a top tier team.
yes they were blown out by those teams.
They won all their other games.
They probably didn't need to be in a BCS bowl, but they were, it isn't like you can re-write history.

what does it say for LSu if you think ND is so sorry?

folks we LOST 2 games agaisnt top ten opponents. Of course one is playing in the NC, so we shouldn't feel too bad.

yes they were Over rated. but below the top 25? :nope:

below top 10? yeah probably. It's all subjective anyway.

Looks like you found someone new to pick on besides USC. :dis:

they are what they are. but they did play THEIR schedule and did better than allot of schools.

I think it showed how great the Tigers are, not how sorry the Irish were.
Considering their lack of defense agaisnt the pass, I thought they held up better than expected in the first half, I was impressed by their running back, Walker isn't it?

Remember they don't play the SEC schedule.

don't let hate for the golden domers ruin your objectivity

Seriously, I would say yes. Around the very bottom of the top 25, they did beat Ga Tech, Penn State, and UCLA. CLearly not a top 20 team imho.

Think about it, the score was 21-14 at the half, and they owned the time of pos.

As LSU fans we are so used to blowing teams out that we assume they suck. For example, Kentucky beat Clemson in their bowl. Why do fans cheer "overrated" when they beat a good team? That is kind of like cheering, "we beat you because you actually suck!"

I would rather cheer, " you are actually quite a solid ball team, but however talented you do happen to be, we proved that we are the better team."
I don't think that one will catch on though! It doesn't have any rhythm!

I don't think they should be ranked in the top 25.
    Maybe number 26?
Seriously if they lose their qb and some others I don't see how they could
be that good and thats bad!

Actually, Like someone else said its all about our team, LSU!
The media won't admit it but look at what Les Miles team did in the last
    2 bowls?
I hope I'm not over confident here because look at just how good Miami
    has been since last year.
I actually think we were screwed with our bowl opponents the last 2 years
    but especially last year.
There is no way in hell we should've played in the Peach Bowl last year!:nope:
