Should LSU accept Brent Rawls?

    I got confirmation from Andy Reiger, sports editor in Norman,OK, Brent Rawls is defininitely no longer a Sooner. With the Booty experience, should Saban accept this guy into the LSU Program?
    I am skeptical;)

    Why in the world would Rawls come to LSU? (to play football)

    He is a football player and was recruited by Saban...

    ...he is from Louisiana; he could be a seed for future recruits from this "fertile farm"! I think with the "departing rancor of the Bootys"...there is perhaps a viable chance to turn around the "negative relationship perceptions" most LSU and Evangel fans seem to harbor. The possibilities are "double edged"! IMO:geaux: :lsug:

    I can't see Nick giving him a scholarship, he won't have many to give if all of the freshmen are eligible. Let him walk on and earn a scholly by working for it.

    There is no parallel between this guy and Josh Booty. Booty didn't transfer from another school and he wasn't a "problem" kid. Geez, Booty gave up a million dollars to come to LSU. This guy is just running from his problems at OU.

    OK Red! Don't "prematurely shoot" OK?

    I'm making an oblique comparison b/c both are QB's from Evangel...and you cannot deny there is a "semblance of controversy" for both Evangel guys. Granted, Josh gave up alot and I have always defended the Booty's ...until they could no longer be defended. I'm just trying to elicit a discussion...not a "premature shoot off SIR RED!!!" Put your gun back in yer "holster" and save it for something "exciting"!! I NEVER intended to "get a rise outta yer ornery red azz"!!:D :D :dis: :dis: :dis: :D :D

    I was "giving you" a "discussion", you unfortunate "lunatic". You'll "know it" when my "ornery red ass" gets angry. I'm not even "annoyed", just amazed at your particular "style".

    Is your "quote key" stuck or are you "some kind" of "Dr. Evil" wannabe. I was "starting" to think that you were "off the airplane glue" and talking "football" like the rest of "us". No such "luck", I guess.

    Let this Rumor die. Rawls is not leaving OU, and if he did why come to LSU where you be buried in the depth chart. LSU is set at QB for awhile. Everyone knows it, 10-1 not one Blue Chip QB comes to LSU next year.

    Living in Dallas i have the unfortunate luck of having Big 12 news all day everyday.

    Rawls told the news in Oklahoma he is not going anywhere.

    I guess he likes running the scout team and wearing a hat on game day.

    But I don't care one way or the other. As a matter of fact...I'm more concerned with the "inevitable battle" looming with Big Red!!
    He is taking me to task and I'm going to kick his sorry red AZZ
