-Glad to see Eric Edwards and the TEs finally get several passes thrown their way.. -Jimbo Fisher did an excellent job calling the game. -Offensive line totally dominated...sad to see Nate Livings gone for the year though.. -Michael Clayton still a non-factor as far as receptions are concerned...but made some outstanding special teams play and great blocks on bubble screens -Refs were horrible...several bad calls our way (no-call on late hit out of bounds on Mauck and a few others) but made up for it by giving us a couple of calls towards the end of the game -Defense was absolutely amazing...completely dominated the next "Hershel Walker" -Nick Saban continued his 60 minutes of intensity talk...glad to see the players fight hard until the clock reads 0:00 -overall, i think we looked like the team that can dominate and play like one of the top 5 teams in the nation Geaux Tigers!!! Bring on the other Tigers!!! :lsug: :geaux:
He is a factor as far as receptions are concerned...for our OTHER receivers. The word is out that Clayton is awesome so our opponents have to double team him. This opens up our other receivers more. Its not good for Clayton's stats or Heisman aspirations, but from the TEAM perspective it is fantastic. I suspect that Clayton is a real TEAM player and does not mind the extra "attention" he gets.
I would like to see Clayton get the ball more since he should be our big playmaker but if he isn't open and is doubled all the time there isn't much we can do. When teams see that Devery Henderson and Skyler Green can do some damage it might cause them to think twice about concentrated on Clayton opening him back up. If LSU can get back Auburn's front 7 and into the secondary we should be fine moving the ball. If LSU lets the front 7 make all the plays the offence will look like they did against Florida.
