For those of you that watch the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, there was a hilarious piece re: Senator Coburn last night, where he was filmed working on a crossword puzzle during John Roberts hearing. Got bored and did some research, this is one wacky, fun guy. Was formerly a doctor who performed abortions. Now opposes them. He originally wanted the Death Penalty for doctors that perform abortions (like him). . . later clarified that he did not support the death penalty for doctors (like himself), who have performed abortions since it was legal at the time.
