Cock, Question for you and not trying to start any $hit. Do you think the Cocks were deserving of a top 8 seed? I didn't think much of it until an analysis of it on the radio the other day. Let me qualify all of this by saying I don't think LSU was deserving so I am not saying the Cocks took the Tigers spot. Basically what was said was how does a team who finished 5th in it's conference get a top 8 seed? Made sense. but then further analysis was. it finished 5th and 3 of the 4 teams that finished ahead of the Cocks (Ark, Ga, LSU) beat the Cocks at least 2 of 3 during the season. Made more sense. Thoughts?
One more piece of it was that the Cocks got the #2 seed at 5th in there conference while all but one of the other conf champs were seeded below them. I guess the answer there is weaker conferences.
This just proves how tough the SEC really is this year and should illuminate how good LSU and Smoke were in taking 8 of nine series.
