West LSU - Miles Auburn - Tubberville Alabama - Rodriguez Arkansas - Nutt East Florida - Meyer Georgia - Richt Tennessee - Fulmer S. Carolina - Spurrier In addition I think Brooks has Kentucky on the right track and MSU and Ole Miss in the West I believe will become more competitive. With the addition of Rodriguez, the SEC just got a shot in the arm, as if it really needed it. Rodriguez will turn Bama around and quickly. Look for them to contend for the West crown on a yearly basis. SEC Football - it's where it's at!
I wonder if RR will bring the spread offense to Bama? That will be weird to see Bama run that type of offense. If he does, I hope the Bama faithfull will realize RR needs time to get his type of players. Right now, Bama doesn't have the type of players to run the SO. I think the SEC just got even better.
Just like Meyer didn't really have his type of QB in Leak but was able to weave Tebow into the mix and quite effectively this season. I think RR will be just as saavy as Meyer and will figure out how to use his players the best way possible, all the while waiting to recruit and develop the kinds of players that will fit his grand scheme. The SEC did indeed get better.
The SEC has been the best conference in the country for quite a while. The reason was because we had the best athletes in the country, but we never seemed to have the best coaches (as a whole). There has been a very strong push by the member schools over the past half decade or so to bring in really top notch coaches, and it seems our conference gets tougher every year.
You got brilliant offensive minds like Spurrier, Meyer and Rodriguez going up against typical stellar defenses like LSU, Auburn and Georgia. I welcome him into the SEC. Let's get it on!
