What will happen if Georgia, Tenn., and Florida are all within 5 spots of each other in the BCS? Will they just compare the top 2?
if those teams are all within 5 spots of each other they will got wit head to head which would be georgia :lsug: :lsug:
SEC east tie breaker If all three are within five points, the team with the worst rating in the BCS is dropped and the other two are compared head to head.
i knew i was missing something ther thank you for including that extra info but we already beat georgia and that would sorta hurt our bcs boost
We gotta get out of Oxford with a win first and then beat the hogs. You can bet OM will be sky high for this game, knowing this might be the last shot for a very long time. The hogs would love nothing better than to spoil our shot at playing for the SEC title.
Right. Basically, if UF, UT, and UGA all win out...UT and UGA will be ahead of UF. The gators just dont have enough to get above either of us even with the poor UT schedule. Therefore, UGA and UT would go H-2-H and we would win. We still need to beat Kent and Tech
LSU needs for UGA to win out, Kentucky to upset Tennessee, and Florida to beat FSU.....if this happened Florida would hopefully get to within 5 spots of UGA, thus putting UF in the SECCG. This would let us keep the BCS QW points for beating UGA.. Then if we beat UF how could any human or computer polls not have us at #2...we would have beaten every team on our schedule!!! However this is all a moot point if we don't beat Ole Miss!!!
Florida has already tied for the SEC East Championship, they could beat FSU (I think they will) and they're within 5 points of GA/TN. It'll all come down to final BCS rankings. Too damn close to tell now. But, TN SOS will not improve ... one thing for sure. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/abcsports/BCSRankings
