I think either Miles or Spurrier will get it, but how can you not give it to the coach at Vandy. Looks like they're going bowling this year for the first time in ......forever. With a big win over rival UT and a near win over UF, I think he should get it.
What the hell are you talking about? Unbiased, Miles should get it. Hurricanes. Sticking with the team after the tenn meltdown... and the team bouncing back the rest of the season... Also, how many first year coaches beat Florida, Auburn, and Bama in their First year?
I thought Kentucky put Vandy's Bowl dreams on hold till next year. They only have 5 wins this year![/quote] You're right. I thought they were 6 and 5 instead. But still did a great job with Vandy.
Vandy can't go bowling with a 5-6 record unless they visit the local bowling alley. Their coach did a nice job but he had a better setup last season w/ many of the same players and had a sub-500 record then, too. SOS will get consideration, but I think Les wraps it up w/ a SEC CG given the craziness of the first month of this season.
Spurrier should definitely get it. Miles has done well with Saban's top-shelf talent...time will tell how well Miles recruits his own.
working with what players he has, I would have to say Tubby.. I hate him, but Auburn did alot better than I thought they would..
I don't understand this. Time IS telling. Miles currently has the 3rd best recruiting class in the country! The funny thing about Spurrier is, his team only has one more win right now than they had this time last year (i'm pretty sure).
Spurrier didn't inherit a team full of talent like Miles did...LSU winning the SEC West was not a surprise. South Carolina pushing for the SEC East was a surprise.
