Greetings all again, Still recovering from the great victory this week. Just an FYI, My wife has been selected to be in a new TV series called "The Big Game Hunter" (It originally aired on ESPN 2 about 3 years ago, they are renewing it with her and two other hosts) The pilot has been purchased by HDTV (Mark Cuban's company) and they will be filming this week at the Texas- Texas A&M game. The two lead producers are huge LSU fans, as Stacie and I are also. If ESPN purchases it again immediately, they are hoping to film the second episode in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game. Hopefully with the Tigers in tow. We will keep our fingers crossed for a win next week, and hopefully we can work something out with Brett to have a scheduled TigerForums.com tailgate in Atlanta. And have you guys a part of the TV show. Stacie has a small description of the show on her website. If anyone is interested. Have a great week, and GEAUX TIGERS! www.StacieTheSportsChick.com
Funny stuff this morning. Jim Rome is going off about how no way LSU should play in the Sugar if they win out.
I like Rome's show because of his funny takes on non-sports issues....the guy IS funny along the lines of an aspiring stand-up comic. But in the grand scheme of things, not only does he NOT know a lot about sports, but he's a Southern Cal homer to boot. So his take doesn't completely surprise me. He was harping on LSU's SOS vs. that of USC, but he doesn't know the whole story on that (i.e., Marshall's reneging on their contract).
If she can make Fran look like an idiot, that might be some good entertainment. Usually for Texas/Texas A&M, the focus is on the great traditions of each university. Maybe see if they can get Aggie fans to diss Texas and vice versa. That would be some funny stuff. Both sides have good ammunition right now. The Aggies getting smoked 77-0 and Texas losing ONCE AGAIN to Oklahoma by 50+. Let us know if they do the SEC Championship game and suggest a feature on Lavalais with the prison guard bit. Maybe something on Peterman being a new dad too.
