SEC Champ Game Question

    Although this is looking way ahead, who would represent the West if we, Auburn & Arkansas all end up 6-2? Just curious.

    There's at least two current threads answering this question. The quick answer is "it depends who wins or losses against who.":confused:

    The way i understand it is the third tie breaker is your record 'within the Western division"

    If AU loses to Bama, and Ark loses to Tenn and US....that would put it like this.

    AU - 6-2 ...with both losses in the WEST
    Ark - 6-2....with only 1 loss in the WEST
    LSU - 6-2....with only 1 loss in the WEST

    in this scenario LSU would go because AU would be eliminated first and after one team is eliminated it goes back to head to head.

    but i could be wrong on this.....but i don't think the BCS standings will come into play unless all 3 teams have the same record in the SEC and the same in the Western division.
