How will the SEC teams come out in the bowl games? Call me biased, but it looks like the SEC team could take each of these. The betting line has the SEC team in each case except for LSU, and I'm going with LSU. Sugar (Jan. 4): Oklahoma (12-1) vs. LSU (12-1). Outback (Jan. 1): Iowa (9-3) vs. Florida (8-4). Cotton (Jan. 2): Oklahoma State (9-3) vs. Ole Miss (9-3). Capital One (Jan. 1): Georgia (10-3) vs. Purdue (9-3). Independence (Dec. 31): Missouri (8-4) vs. Arkansas (8-4). Peach (Jan. 2): Tennessee (10-2) vs. Clemson (8-4). Music City (Dec. 31): Auburn (7-5) vs. Wisconsin (7-5). Red's picks: LSU 31, Oklahoma 21 Florida 28, Iowa 24 Ole Miss 34, Oklahoma St. 28 Georgia 28, Purdue, 10 Arkansas 21, Missouri 17 Tennessee 17, Clemson 13 Auburn 24, Wisconsin 21 :geaux:
I like all the SEC in those games. I hope the SEC goes undfeated and shows the PAC 10 they still suck
Its very possible that the SEC could sweep the bowl games. That would be awesome and there would be no denying what we all know...the SEC is the best conference in America!
I also think the Arkansas-Missouri game, next to the Sugar Bowl of course, will be the most entertaining game of the bowl season. Here's to the SEC!
I could see Ole Miss getting tripped up by Oklahoma St. They already lost once this year to a Big 12 team that loved to throw the ball. All others I think will go the SEC's way.
I will be attending that Arky/Mizzou game since I will be home visiting my parents. The Indy Bowl usually is fun.
I too hope the SEC goes undefeated. It seems like the SEC gets NO RESPECT now days. How is it, I saw rankings during the season and sec #1 How is it then that the coaches pick usc #1 and create a bigger controversy. The only thing I can figure out is margin of victory.
