I was wondering if anyone could give me personal opinions on seating at Tiger Stadium. I have a chance to get tickets in either sections 619 or 635. I was curious who has watched the game from this section and what you can tell me about it. Is it a pain to get to? Anything, good or bad, please let me know so I can decide. Thanks a bunch!

First, go to Tiger Stadium Seating Chart.

Then click on your section . . . and it will pop up a photo of the field from that section. Good luck.

    Welcome to the forum.

I sit in one of the first few rows around section 635 and by looking at the chart these are much better than 619 which is in the far corner West Upper.

635 is also located around the 50 yard line and with the new placement of the band this year you should have no problems hearing the band. Might be hard to hear the band in sec 619.

Very easy to get to because you can take the escalator up before the game and down anytime after halftime. The East Upper is the newest of the two upper decks and very short lines for concession stands and bathrooms. Hardly any problems with drinking up there or catching a smoke break if needed.

My tailgate is right by the escalators as well if you need to booze up before going up.

    Hope that helps

Thanks, red. :) I did look up the seating prior to posting, but I have never been in the new sections, so I was not sure how good the seats would be. Our tickets used to be in section 216.
BHelm...thanks, that helps a bunch. The view from the chart looks great and I am glad it is close to everything. Might have to take you up on that offer, too. ;)

    :)

For a 8 game home game season that sounds about right. Comes out to $65 dollars per ticket. Is that including any donations to TAF or are these tickets from someone who already has paid the dues?
