The Seattle Seahawks have been voted #1 by the AP writers for their first ever undisputed NFL Championship. Seahawks owner Paul Allen declared the Seahawks a Dynasty. In other news the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Seattle Seahawks to win the Super Bowl.

If the AP declared them #1 then the Steelers will become little more than a footnote in the record books for this season. All hail the mighty AP and the REAL champions the Seatle Seahawks!!!!!!!

ESPN is doing a weekly feature about how the Seahawks would stack up against other champions. So far the Seahawks have defeated both of Lombardi's champs.........ON THE SAME DAY!

Seahawks Declared AP Poll #1. Colts cry foul!

In response to the controversial AP NFL poll which awarded the # 1 spot to the Seattle Seahawks Tony Dungy replied " I don't think the Super Bowl selection process is fair. We were clearly the best team in the NFL and didn't get a chance to play for the championship. I mean, it basically comes down to the outcome of one game and doesn't take into account what we accomplished the entire season." The Colts plan to give the team "NFL Champions" rings and Dungy will smoke a celebratory cigar.

See how ridicluous the college system seems when you compare it to a real playoff.
