I've searched for a box score that shows the number of penalties & yardage for each team. No luck. Does anyone know or have a link? TIA.
Yes, a Rams fan from way back. Love me some Youngblood, Deacon, Slater, Merlin, Dryer. More recent, Ellard, Gurley, Greene, Dickerson, Robert Woods, plus John Robinson. LA actually loves the Rams. Most fans came to despise Georgia Front and Reary for taking them to St Louis. Add to that the current debacle that is USC football and the city is looking for a winning team. Nickel Robey-Coleman is a former Trojan. I love the guy but he admitted he got away with one. The ref who didn't call that play is Todd Prukop whose dad Al, was a USC QB in '59. His nephew Dakota played for the Ducks. Great family and while I think they get paid a whole lot to do better, it's stupid and wrong for people to be plastering his name everywhere with threats, etc. I also think the lawsuit by Saints fans is stupid but I support their right to waste their money. I didn't say anything before because it was a sore subject and didn't want to be rude....but I think Shane had it right. Yes, it was a crucial play but if you have to leave the outcome in someone else's hands besides your own, you haven't done all you can.
Amen!!! I've been saying that in various forms since the game ended. You can't give up an early 13 point lead, forget how to play D and expect to win.
Never have, never will. That's what happens with humans. Lots of calls get missed or are just flat out wrong. Replay can fix some of that but not all. That's why you have to leave no doubt. Don't give up the 13 on your home field.
Riddle me this. Besides 'It's Tom Brady', why is this roughing the passer... ...and this isn't? And I know that just chaps their ass too because they feel like they're the historically better franchise and are more deserving. And while we're at it, the Failcunts gloating ass fans can suck it too. We may not win it on their field this year, but having to watch the team that they blew the biggest lead in Super Bowl history do it is the next best thing. I think it should be because it will give them a better look at it to make the determination of whether or not it was actually P.I., but the NFL will just say its not reviewable because it's subjective.
