    This was wonderful to wake up to this morning.

    I do not think it is going to stop the attacks at first, but I do think more people in Iraq are going to feel safer giving our military information on the people they suspect are behind the attacks.

    Is there any question that hread ratings should be disabled?

    Someone actually rated this thread 1 star. The stars just take up valuable screen real-estate.

    I would agree. I think views and replies do a much better job of rating a discussion.

    There used to be a pull down menu at the bottom of the page, but it looks like Brett removed it, which is ok.

    I removed it months ago on the Tiger's Den forum because it just takes up more space than it's worth. No one really uses it to gauge whether or not a thread is worth reading ir not. A quality subject title and the number of replies is a better indicator.

    Many people still use 800x600 resolutions on their monitor and by removing it it allows more room in the subject title and keeps it from breaking into 2 lines on long titles.
