Did anyone see the Wafb story on Saban's slary.Skip said he will be the highest paid coach in the country even if he does not win the NC.
Doesn't his contract say that if we wins on January 4, he will be paid $1 more than his opponent in that game, the current highest paid coach? Interesting sidenote to the game (unless they redo his contract before then).
Yes that is correct, Saban has in his contract if he wins the National Title he makes 1 dollar more then the highest paid coach in College Football. IE the man across the field from him in the National Championship... Stoops.
How would it work if more than one coach had that in his contract? Say if Bob Stoops did? Saban gets a raise that gives him one more dollar than Stoops so OU has to raise Stoops pay by $2 to give him a dollar more than Saban so LSU has to give Saban another $2 forcing OU to give Stoops another $2 forcing LSU to give Saban another $2 ................ Would these raises come once a month, once a week, once a day, once an hour or what. Saban and Stoops both being pretty smart cookies get together to to have the LSU payroll computer linked to the OU payroll computer to give constantly updated $2 raises every few milliseconds. It wouldn't take more than a week of that before they are both richer than Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Paul Allen, Michael Dell and the Wal-Mart family combined.
