I hate to even write about a rumor. However, my nephew just left a Thanksgiving Day deal at his in-laws in Ms. LSU's old strengh and conditioning coach was there and said he may be moving to Atlanta (he currently works for W.V.) since he has a chance to become the next Falcons strengh and conditioning coach once Saban takes the job after the bowl game. The word was Jimbo would become the next LSU head coach and Nick jumps to Atlanta. Then, I just saw a second ago on here Jimbo said no thanks to Miss State. Has anyone heard this? I've heard talk of the Bears, but never the Falcons.

I personally can't see Saban leaving now that he has built a program that will compete year in and year out. He owns the state now in recruiting...LSU pays him well...and things are being done around campus that he wanted for the program. Everything has fell into place in Baton Rouge for Saban. I don't believe the rumor...just wanted to see if the Falcon thing has been out there before.

If it happens where Saban goes to Atlanta, you heard it here first. Heard a couple of other things a minute ago from my nephew...don't be surprised! :(

No offfense to anyone on this board but this crap about Saban makes me want to puke. I don't understand how it continues and there is really no way to stop it......I saw on here earlier that Jimbo was a lock to go to MSU. Now it turns out he has turned down the job......okay.....so much for that source of info. I mean if these people that spread these rumours were in a courtroom their credibility would be absolute nil. Here's a prediction:

Nick Saban will leave LSU. Stay tuned for his press conference. As of yet it is unscheduled but it'll happen, you can bet the ranch on that one. While we are waiting with baited breath the best thing to do is GO ON ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS!!!! THERE IS NOTHING TO SEE HERE!!!

oh yeah: Beat the living $hit out of Arkansas!!

There are always rumors. I don't buy any of them.

My neighbor (a MSU alum) just came over to tell me that Tuberville was going to tell Auburn to stuff it and that Sexton was arranging for Tuberville to go to Miss State and Jimbo to Auburn.

    Crazy, ain't it?

I'm not trying to start a fabricated rumor. I want Saban to stay for the next 50yrs...but what I heard tonight seems to have substance. Just wanted to know if the Atlanta thing had been out there before.

Heard it here first? What is this a sports writer's SCOOp forum? what? you're gonna get kudos or fishes IF it is true, which I doubt? Giving these rumors credentials is like Calling Nick Saban a liar. The man has said he has no interest in a Pro or another college job. When HE says different THEN it's not a rumor. Until then it's not even a rumor it's BS.
focus on the piglets, you can bet they are on our Tigers.

This sounds like every ESPN articles headline, "Heard it here first." Do you actually think Saban would let his assistants blab to everyone that he is going to leave? Not likely....

This sounds like everyones story..."I have a brother, who has a friend who knows a guy whose sister is the secretary of the Volleyball team and she says that Saban is gone next year!!"

Saban has lots of friends in the NFL, I am sure he talks and dines with them all them time when given the chance. It doesn't mean he is talking about potential jobs?
