Saban on NFL Rumors

    PRO AND CON: No NFL head coaching jobs are open, but the subject of Saban possibly coaching there has already been addressed. Saban was asked if his name being associated with pro job searches was a positive for the program. His response was to question why it's a negative.

    "What I tell everybody (recruits) when they ask me about it is to ask the other coach recruiting them, 'Why ain't they trying to hire your guy in the NFL?' That sounds pretty arrogant, but that's the fact of the matter.

    "I'm happy being here. I haven't seen anything that anybody's said. First of all there are no jobs open, and the ones that are open I'm not interested in. When some more come open, I'll say the same thing. All we're talking about is speculation, competing with the Internet."
