ESPN stated Saban feels loyalty to W.H. but loves coaching 18 20 yr. old kids. I wonder if it's the same loyalty he felt to L.S.U. f he goes to bama, FUK HIM!!!!!!!!!! He is a no loaylty, whore and LSU means nothing to him!! I know he never bled purple and gold like us, but to come back in the SEC west in just two years?! We mean NOTHING to him. If he goes, I hope we pound his ass every year!!! Am I the only one upset that he's considering bama?? Am I wrong??

I hope that Saban DOES go to Bama. I can't wait to see the look on Saban's face when Coach Miles's LSU Tigers whip his crimson-butt next year!

    LSU! :crystal:

I have no idea how old you are but I can tell you from experience that people's lifestyles change, as do their tastes, and desires. Some of the things I used to love to do, I never do anymore.

First of all, Saban hasn't taken a job a Bama yet; however, I smell a fish and have a hunch he will. Saban, like many coaches, had aspirations to coach at the next level. Maybe after two years he doesn't like it.......maybe his personal life (Such as his marital status) has undergone changes that made him re-assess things. I never believe $$ would be the deciding factor if he wasn't happy.

I choose to be thankful for what he did for our program and harbor no ill feelings if he ends up at Bama after leaving and coaching in the NFL. He wasn't married to us and besides, he lost as many games his last year as Miles has in two.....assuming we play our game in the Sugar Bowl. :yelwink2:

IF he goes to Bama, I believe it will fire LSU fans up more to play Bama than vice versa. Let him go and embrace the coach we have- he may not be perfect but there was only one person who walked this earth who was and look what they did to him. :thumb:

Chill. It's a business. It is nothing personal to LSU or the Tiger faithful.

What a move to 'Bama would do however, is show that Saban can't be happy anywhere and, IMO, hurts his reputation for his inability to stay with any team for very long. Even if he goes to 'Bama, which I don't believe is going to happen, he won't be there long. Between his itchy feet, and their BOS meddling ways, he will find the grass greener elsewhere in just a couple of years.

For real, Saban was a very good coach. Now he is gone, forget it and move on. LSU can win with out the guy. Les is our coach, he is also a good coach:geauxtige

PS, "Saban loves 18 to 20 year olds" So do I.:hihi:

I'm 43 and I know that things change in life, but at Saban's age, you would think he'd think things through before bailing on LSU to Miami then to bama, and HE DOES NOT HAVE TO RETURN TO THE SEC if he really had any loyalty to LSU like he claims whenever he's asked. You mean to tell me that in 2 short years, he realizes he likes it in college better? he coached at both levels, unlike Spurrier, he KNEW what he was getting into when he left, if he goes, he's a bastard

Saban has said three of four times he is not going to Alabama. I believe him.

Saban may not go to Bama, but you can bet he has been entertaining the thought. Just as he danced with the NFL almost every year he was here. He just didn't leave the dance until he got an offer from the right girl.:)

Nick the D*ck may always be looking for the next best thing, but football's Larry Brown sure can coach. Anyone who thinks that Miles is close to as good of a head coach as Saban is a fool.
