    Yea I feel bad that he just lost his dad. But this seems to be a pattern for him. You know if he has a problem he should have met with the coaches let them know whats going on. you just don't abandon your responsibility. If it was me and I needed some time away, I would have let the people of authority know of my intentions.

    1. Under investigation by FBI, but never charged... wow didn't know that was a crime...

    2. Busted sneaking onto a casino boat... FELONY! Come on, is this really that fricking bad... how many kids could they bust for this ie using a fake ID to gain access to an establishment with a minimum age requirement... Was he ever charged?

    3. Getting into a scuffle with some roided up, holier-than-thou bouncers... that doesn't happen often... was he ever charged?

    4. Missed some classes and practices... his father died recently... OFF THE TEAM CECIL JR.!!!


    Some of you forget that College is fun... so he messed up a couple of times, and had one situation that sounds serious but he never was charged with anything.

    The day the NCAA/College starts paying these guys some of the money they make off of them, is the day I will hold them to a higher standard then any other kid that attends a University on Schollie or TOPS.

    RP has made a few mistakes, but at least LSU doesn't try and sweep them under the rug like some other schools do... **cough Mark Sanchez cough**. Lets try not to look down our noses at him, were we so different when we were younger... I know I'm not enough of a liar to say that my record is clean. Student Athletes like students are not infallible, and we should not hold them all to the squeaky clean, All American leader model that we sometimes would like.

    that's contrary to everything I've heard and am hearing.

    The real problem here is that it is not simply a bar, but a gambling casino. Does anyone want even a hint of a point shaving scandal in any LSU athletic program?

    Gambling is the ultimate taboo in sports. Just ask Michael Vick.

    That doesn't jive as there is no sports book legalized anywhere in Louisiana.

    1) Is there even gambling on sports in LA casinos? Plus he was third string at the time. How many points could he shave?


    2) The concern over Vick was not the gambling.
