Of course there is no certainty and it's only my opinion that Comey's announcement hurt worse than the Russian meddling. Clinton was leading pretty consistently in the polls and her lead disintegrated in the last 10 days and, frankly, the polling had not caught up to the where the American people actually were at the time.
So they cleared her to meet with Obama Admins but her meeting with Trumps son is a sign of collusion? As I said, you will see what you want to see.
I know that is the Democratic sound bite, but I disagree. I don't think anyone waited until 10 days before election to decide or to switch. I am certain know one I knew did. Think about it, a pretty viscous campaign, two candidates that are polar opposites, but yet, after all that Comey swayed the masses? I don't think so. And this is the thinking that will elect GOP in both 2018 and 2020, heaven forbid. Many leading, or at least vocal, democrats have abandoned that party line. They are focusing on issues, policies, and connecting with all American voters. I wish them luck.
I hear what you are saying but consider this: how many people didn't like either candidate? I am betting that folks who didn't like either candidate made up a larger share of the vote than in previous years. I say this because I think people were looking for "who not to vote for," rather than "who to vote for." I base my opinion on the fact that Comey's second letter to congress, ten days before the election gave folks the perfect "who not to vote for" mentality and it either deterred those who were leaning Clinton's way from voting at all or tilted them towards pulling the lever for Trump. On any other election I would agree with you because we as Americans are typically very entrenched politically. That said, 2016 was a "hold your nose" vote like nothing we've ever seen before.
She never met with the Obama administration it turns out. Didn't take but a little google search to figure it out either. I think what you are probably talking about is Trump's assertion that the Russian lawyer shouldn't have been in the country because her visa had been denied initially. However, it was granted because she was representing a client in New York State Court. Trump has been blowharding that this was the work of the Obama administration but there is absolutely no evidence to support that claim. In fact, such decisions would be made at regional offices, not the DOJ.
Look harder. She even had Dems on the payroll. http://thehill.com/homenews/adminis...sian-lawyer-into-us-before-she-met-with-trump http://dailycaller.com/2017/07/12/e...ked-for-russian-lawyer-who-met-with-trump-jr/ "Glenn Simpson, founder of Fusion GPS, also joined the Russian lawyer and “worked with her on a legal case for years,” according to The Washington Post" Fusion GPS: "Fusion GPS is the firm that reportedly commissioned a phony “dossier” authored by former British spy Christopher Steele that alleged salacious and largely erroneous charges about President Donald Trump."
I got a feeling mueller is pretty interested in how much Donald actually got for those apartments he sold
I don't agree, I think the worser or better choices had been made, but I see your point and certainly can't say you are wrong.
The timing of Comey's press statement couldn't have been worse for Hillary, might have swayed quite a few votes. Mostly I think she believed the polls, was overconfident and didn't campaign effectively at the end,.. not visiting Michigan or Wisconsin, and not enough time in Pennsylvania hurt her badly, maybe cost her the election
