Seems like most of what I am gathering is that this is a recent development as in this summer. Good news... It will be taken care of pretty quickly. It could result in a suspension of a game or two but as of now he is not suspended. Not a long-term issue.
I see. It was an anti-Dildeaux comment. It's all good. :thumb: I think we can all agree that hopefully this is much adieu about nothing.
I wouldn't go that far either. My reason? I like Shep, and think he's going to continue to improve. The fact that he was so hyped coming in doesn't matter a bit to me. He was a true sophomore playing a brand new position last year, and was listed as the #2 (or 3) receiver on the team. Funny, I don't have a problem with the #2 receiver on the team winding up with the 2nd most catches. But yeah, if he's out for a game or two, it is no big deal...on the field. Off the field is my concern. #1, not sure how our probation affects this situation. #2, yet again, LSU is in the news negatively. Whether there's anything to it or not, I wish it wasn't in the news...during SEC MD...right before fall camp...and the season.
Just a guess but I get the feeling it has something to do with his recent move from one apartment to another. You have to get authorization and maybe Shep didn't think he had to do so when he was simply moving, just when you move from campus to off-campus. I know he recently moved, the other stuff in my post is just an assumption.
That is from Dildeaux... Could be right but most aren't hinting at it. If that was the case we could see repayment of funds and a suspension of games. We have seen that quite a few times lately in CFB.
He lived off campus last year. His freshman season on campus. He got approval for the move off campus in Soph year. The mixup seems to be the move from that apartment to a new one this summer.
