Even if this turns out to be false or turns out to be true and we kick him off the team, LSU is not looking good right now.
Makes you wonder how the media likes to 'release' certain stories at certain times. All this crap coming out before or during the SEC media days definitely are not convenient for us.
I meant it just as an extreme comparison but yes, we really don't know enough to say anything about Shepard now. But this is a very bad time for even the smallest issues to come out because they will get compounded by what's already happened.
I feel a little better that it's shepard and not some of the other guys but we'll just have to wait and see what the whole story is.
It is the way LSU is handling things vs USC/OSU step on it early and talk about it in the open take the hit and move on good job LSU
Per Pomansky Best info I have is that this was found internally and they expect it to be cleared up soon. This is similiar to the Ridley bowl deal, where LSU reported something they think may be an issue and will get it cleared. LSU's compliance has been very proactive and this is another situation
Welcome to the club. That's what you learn to live with in the state of alabama. I it any wonder that most fans in the conference would like to see the conference's offices to be relocated anywhere but B'ham? :dis: By the way .... this just popped up: CharlesRobinson Charles Robinson Timing of NCAA's LSU sanctions suggests: 1. This relates to asst coach D.J. McCarthy. 2. NCAA has a second investigation ongoing into LSU. 19 Jul I pray that Charles Robinson's upcoming story in August isn't about AU or LSU. That would be a shame considering that there is another SECW program that needs a bigger carpet to sweep their numerous transgressions under.
So the NCAA gave us one less year of probation on the McCarthy stuff than we were anticipating...so they can really hammer us on something else? Makes perfect sense to me.
