I'm glad the Tigers won, and I'm happy for Les and JR. But LSU is a MUCH better team than Tennessee, and JR almost lost it with his usual goofiness. Three silly INT's and a blown-dead fumble that should have ended the game with a Tiger loss: these have to take some of the luster off the game-winning drive, which climaxed with a TD pass where the wrong guy caught the ball. (This ain't Montana to Clark, my friends.) Still, I love my Tigers. :helmet:
unnecessary drama? wth, you act like he was gossipping about somebody. look he made some bad throws but also made some great ones. i love how we are so fast to blame JR but the tunnelvision blinds yall from the fact that our leading rusher was JR on scrambles. we had several costly penalties(dyakowski false start, that one killed the drive and took away our start of game momentum and points). look for all the tunnelvisioners, JR wasnt the only one who was up and down. just be happy we were up more than down and that it equated into a W against the #8 team in the nation in front of 100,000 fans cheering against us
Amen. JR is a guy with an amazing amount of ability. Mistakes? Yeah, he's made a few. Bad calls? Yeah, he's had more than a few go against him. Bad throws? Yeah, he's made a few. Great throws? Yeah, he's made a hell of alot more of them than not. Wins? A hell of alot more than losses. Last night he beat the #8 team in the nation in their own house. Just as easily as the few losses he's got under his belt, those losses could have been wins with a few variables. He's not responsible for everything that goes wrong on the field. Miles is. Miles still has a long way to go to prove his worth. And,,,,,,,,,,,,he may actually be worth it. Stop knocking JR guys. He's given you a hell of alot more wins than almost every team in the nation. We ARE NOT the best team in the nation. But,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the best team in the nation DOES NOT want to play us.
Some of you need to watch other teams. Rarely, if ever, is there a perfect game. It's 60 minutes. Four full quarters. Things go wrong, especially against a very good team on the road. The bottom line is Ws and Ls. Go ahead and point out the blunders, miscues and almosts, but don't worry so much. JR has shown time and time again that when the game is on the line, he's able to pull it out of the fire.
usual goofy post.....what about bowe short-arming passes? what about LL mis-playing coverage on meachem allowing a touchdown on 3 rd and long, and the list could go on and on, but yet you choose to say that the man who led the comeback almost lost it........:nope:
I agree, I guess what is so frustrating is the potential is there for him to be very high reward and low risk.
There are very, very few QB's that could have made some of the plays he did yesterday. There are lots and lots of QB's that make mistakes on the road against a top 10 team.
Agree....... "All that drama he created"............ diving for the endzone and throwing a TD pass with 9 seconds on the clock........ what's the matter with that guy...
