My biggest concern right now is the tigers rushing game against Miss state. We haven't been able to run very well as of halftime. I expect us to do better in the 2nd half, but we haven't established the run yet. On the other hand we have passed much more and JL has played great. We should take control of this more in the 2nd half.

Did you notice 9 in the box?

Nah not 9, maybe 7 at the most, if 9 audible play.

    Smart, smart defense.

I would put 10 in the box if possible.

I think we're getting the outcomes that Miles ultimately likes/wants.

Establish the want to rush early. "Ware" them down by the 3rd and dominate the 4th.

Gotta kill them with the pass earlier on in the game, if they are going to play the run like MSU did. We waited until the game was getting dicey to let Lee out of his cage. That drive with 5-5 passing for 67 yards and a TD was there ALL NIGHT long.

After watching the RB's this year I like Ware the best. Especially in SEC competition when the holes will be scarce. Ware just seems to get more yards after contact than Ford and runs tougher IMO. I think this is a case where the prevailing view that Ford doesn't run tough is actually true. When there are open holes and if he can take it outside Ford is very good, but Ware is the one who breaks tackles, spins and keeps going forward, legs churning. If anything, I think we could have tried a few more sweeps tonight. I especially did not like the second down fullback dive play at the 6 yard line on the first drive. If we were pitching the ball and running sweeps it may have fooled someone. However when you are pitching the ball and running into the middle 90% of the time, why would the defense over pursue to the sideline instead of staying at home and stopping the fullback?
