Since their hasn't been much discussion, I thought I would post a poll to see what everyone thought about our backs...It's an off game topic, but still, I think, a good question.... In three or four years, when these guys have matured, who do you think will be LSU's featured back?
How about Jakouri Williams or Early Doucet (though I expect he will play WR)? :geaux: :lsug: 20 cocksss 17
Well I didn't want to add anyone before they committ. Don't want to jinx anything there...I voted Justin Vincent just because he was the highest touted player of the three(which shows you how touted they all were considered they were all top 5 backs in High School). But, anything can happen, and I just thought the board needed some discussion...It's been dead for the past day...This many people couldn't have gone to South Carolina, could they??
From the limited action I've seen, maybe have Broussard and Vincent be a Toefield/Davis combo and each get significant carries. The game tonight is a chance for one of them to take a big step forward. Did Vincent practice with the team last year?

I say put Jamarcus Russell and Matt Flynn in at tailback, NOW! They are the only salvation to our season.
I haven't seen enough of these guys, yet. Each has the physical tools, apparently. This may be the game where we see which of the freshman running backs has his head space right. This is an amazing chance for a freshman to show everybody what he has . . . if he can realize the opportunity, focus on the plays, and execute the run.
