I am a big fan of James Carville, and almost NEVER agree with the guy. However, his coining the phrase "Rumsfeldian Incompetence" in reference to Howard Dean is just a classic. I can't wait to use this at work, at home, at play. http://www.statesman.com/blogs/cont...ngton/entries/2006/11/15/carville_says_d.html
Carville has some great quotes: "Thanks to the U.S. Supreme Court, you'll be able to use public money to send yours kids to General Beauregard Bigot Private Academy, Fundamentalist Football, and Frequent Drug Tests. They have these religious schools that teach these kids insanity like the earth is 5,000 years old, where the pope is a demon. I don't want my tax money going to that kind of crap. You can practice religion until you fall out. I don't want to pay for somebody else's bigotry." "In the Clinton administration we worried the president would open his zipper. In the Bush administration, they worry the president will open his mouth." “As with mosquitoes, horseflies, and most bloodsucking parasites, Kenneth Starr was spawned in stagnant water.” “But I'd rather not predict. I'd rather affect.” “I was against gay marriage until I realized I didn't have to get one.” "What's the real difference between Republicans and Democrats?.. Let me tell ya the real difference ... Republicans will always take on the people in the interest of power and good democrats will never fear to take on the power in the interests of people."
I finally got a chance to use this expression at work yesterday. PERFECT scenario, and it was completely wasted on a secretary who had no idea what I was talking about. Back to the drawing board.
