    I declare shenanigans on 27.

Any decent tailgate begins before the sun comes up. I think LSU should enact a policy that says if by twelve hours before kick off you haven't served your krewe a complete meal then you are not allowed to tailgate on campus. I live for showing up at campus at 5 am to begin cooking breakfast for my tailgate mates who will be showing up between 6 and 7. I love starting the roux for my gumbo at 9 am while my buddies debone chickens. It makes my day when I have two burners lit and I'm making a chicken stock in one and browning onions and bell peppers in the other.

I guess if I was in Big 10 country and it was 10 below zero before the sun came up id feel differently. Thank God we live in the south.

that's why i say IF i ever show up 6 hrs before a game. i'm usually out at about 7 am.

actually my mother in law got remarried before the florida game in '03 ago (in clinton). 2:30 kickoff.

i got to campus 15 min before the game started. i never got to tailgate. fla beat us 19-7 in the only game we lost that year.

    i blame myself. :bncry:

well, actually i blame the wife (wasn't my family) :yelwink2:

but don't worry, the story has a happy ending eventually through long and hard tailgating i helped lift us to the NC that year. true story.

First thing I thought of. Now way does any team come closer to the number of times that sicks song is played. They start like 3 hours before kickoff, too.

I've got news for ya pal, that's no friend. How dare they plan a wedding on the day LSU plays and expect you to be there.

You on the other hand ARE a true friend for showing up.

    :hihi: j/k

I totally agree!!! I wouldn't even plan a wedding during football season unless i could have it on the field after the game and les miles could do the wedding thingy that they read and the guy i was getting married to was shirtless in body paint lol...... and of course I would need the tiger band!! -- now that is what i consider romantic hehehee

Looks like we have a rule to follow. Im guessing it will be another century before another team gets to brag on this one. tough to justify even nd when they are one game above .500.

For the life of me I just don't get having a wedding during football season. LSU plays minimum of 12 times and max of 14. There are 365 days a year. That leaves you with at least 351 other days to choose from. :dis:

As far as who to pull for in BCS games...I always root for the SEC against the lesser conferences.
