Karl Rove is quite obviously not out of the woods. While Rove faces doubts about his White House status, there are new indications that he remains in legal jeopardy from Special Counsel Patrick J. Fitzgerald's criminal investigation of the Plame leak. The prosecutor spoke this week with an attorney for Time magazine reporter Matthew Cooper about his client's conversations with Rove before and after Plame's identity became publicly known because of anonymous disclosures by White House officials, according to two sources familiar with the conversation. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/11/02/AR2005110203276.html
stories like "person x is still under inverstigation" are pretty boring. wake me when the story says "person x is indicted"
Imagine living in a world where everyone is out to get you, where people conspire against one another, where shadows abound, and strife and envy rule the day. A place where hate is the srongest emotion and a sense of selective integrity is the standard.....man, it must be tough living in your world, Rex. You announce with glee (somehow I imagine a little boy in short pants, a white shirt and bow tie) some innuendo and half truth to anyone who will listen, all the while ignoring the wrongs that are perpetuated by those you support. The sad truth is this: Once in Washington there ceases to be Dem or Republican. They become a sound bite machine, operating on the 24 hr news cycle, pandering to the few who will be swayed by their message. You seem to be one of the few.
