How is Nick Saban below these people? These polls clearly aren't very scientific.

Bush, Clinton, and Oprah Friggin" Winfrey all listed above Jefferson, Einstein, Roosevelt and Edison.

Amazing just how dumb the average TV viewer is.

I saw a couple of episodes and refused to watch it because it was so dumb.... Or rather, the average American is so dumb, that they don't know who affected the nation the most....

For one... I don't believe that Einstein should be on that list, considering he lived in Germany most of his life...

Bill Gates??... ok... gee... as if someone else wasn't making a computer around that time...

Muhammad Ali... what exactly did he do? Boxed? Let's not forget he refused to serve in the army... Ok... moving on....

Neil Armstrong... Great American... Not one of the greatest... he was an astronaut.... There were many others who went into space... What about those men on Apollo 13?

Rosa Parks? OK... she was important in the civil rights movement... but saying she was more important than the men who first flew?

Oprah.... wow... I just don't know what to say about people who think Oprah is above the writer(s) of the principles of what this country is founded on....

Lance Armstrong... Great... another athlete.... I respect the man a lot... Livestrong... but... he's simply a great cycler... and has overcome a lot... Shaq does a lot too....:hihi:

    Bill Clinton... no comment....

Billy Graham???? (Sorry... I didn't see him the first time I read the list...) Good Lord! I just lost more respect for my country that I love so much.. :bncry:

And those arn't all the ones I disagree with up there... I'm just tired.. and angry.... stupid television...

Edit: For everyone's information... some of the top 100 nominees are Ellen DeGeneres, Tom Cruise, John Edwards  , Brett Favre, Mel Gibson, Rudolph Giuliani, Tom Hanks, Hugh Hefner  , Katharine Hepburn, Michael Jackson (how appropriate...), Steven Jobs (how he is not in the top 25, but Gates is, baffles me... and I'm a PC guy..), Michael Jordan, Rush Limbaugh, George Lucas, Madonna, Dr. Phil, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Moore, Jesse Owens, Babe Ruth, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Joseph Smith Jr. (the man who brought us the Mormons...), Steven Spielberg, Martha Stewart (Gee... one of the greatest Americans is a criminal.... AWESOME), Donald Trump, John Wayne, Tiger Woods....

38 out of the top 100 Americans are either athletes or celebrities (as in, related to TV or movies)...

Ronald Reagan was my favorite President in my lifetime.
Its still hard for me to believe George Washington was 4th!

I think that is a solid top 5 however...
