Saw where Rohan and Jarvis Green were quoted as saying that they were glad to have been at LSU when the current buildup began. I always felt that the LSU-Tenn game when Rohan lead LSU to an OT win was a major turning point in the program. It's when I began to believe that they were on the way to the big time.
That LSU/Tenn game was on ESPN Classic yesterday. Ro had that big 32 yd scramble on the second play from scrimmage. Josh Reed had 3 TD receptions. With 1:12 left the game (I had forgotten this before yesterday), LSU had a 3rd and 21 from their own 10 yd line with Tenn ready to call timeout. Ro throws a 23 yd completion for a first down and leads the team to field goal range. If that completion doesn't happen, Tenn probably gets a FG to win the game in regulation. Of course, Corbello's kick gets blocked but Ro to Royal wins it in OT. What a great game! Saban has already built a pretty solid top 10 wins in his 4 yrs here.
I remember TN's run defense was supposed to be one of the best (I think no 100 yard rushers), and you were not supposed to try and attack them there. Of course we do go straight at them, and TOE breaks off that long run.
