One of my neighbors is smoking a tenderloin and grilling shrimp for the game tomorrow. And all I have to do is bring a bottle of 100-proof bourbon. What a deal!

I have been thinking about this all day and still haven't decide what I am going to make tomorrow. I have been craving BBQ shrimp, but I don't know. Decisions, decisions.
It looks like I may just be having leftovers. We went out tonight to celebrate my, and my father's, birthdays and went to our favorite German restaurant. We got the special which was overflowing with food. I ate all of the soup (an incredible mushroom and wine soup) and salad. But I have a nice portion of pork tenderloin with a peppercorn cream sauce, fried potatoes, and red cabbage left. I had to save room tonight for the black forest cake!
Fired up the smoker at 4 this morning. The boston butts (for pulled pork poboys) are on now. Chicken and ribs wll go on shortly. Been staring at the bloody mary mix wondering if it's too early to start to drinking. Would've been a no-brainer years ago, but now I prefer to watch, and remember, the game. Guess I'll wait a little longer!
