    Why is it that any time somebody levels a criticism at Obama, it's automatically a "smear"?

    I bought this book last week and haven't jumped into it yet. His other books tended to put me to sleep, so I may not make it though this one.

    Not "somebody". Corsi is co-author of the book that smeared John Kerry's exemplary military career. It coined the term "Swiftboating" as a particularly vile smear involving printing lies about a candidate long enough for it to hurt them, even though they were completely discredited.

    This guy is a 9/11/ "truther". To me, this automatically discredits anything else he has an opinion about.
