the super qb from appalachian state had another MRI on his ankle showing no tear. would be great if he could play in the d2 NC game tomorrow night against Northern Iowa. he was named their conference offensive player of the year and is listed as day-to-day.

he was the most impressive QB LSU faced this year not named Shockley.

3 of their defensive players were named to the all-america team though none on offense.

I watched App. State play in the semis and it was a fun game to watch. I plan on watching them again in the NC game.

Won't soon forget the standing ovation given to reps from their school when it was announced that the student body had raised money and were donating it to students affected by Hurricane Katrina. Very classy on their part. I sure hope they win.

It should be a very interesting game. The team they're playing (N. Iowa) had something like 450 yds passing and 50 yds rushing in their semifinal game.

After watching the App. State game and seeing Williams play, then hearing what the Mountaineers student body did I can't help but root for them in the Div. I-AA National Championship game. I hope Williams gets to play because he is an outstanding player.

Tirk...you're so harsh with the Robin photo, Where in the world did you find that photo?

thank bo pelini for that. sam's backup has posted better numbers than him since his injury.

he is a quick decision maker passing the ball though. Ill give him that.

Had anyone watched this game? Talk about a courageous performance by him. App. St. could not do anything offensively.. He came into the game and led them to a td with ease... Dude can barely walk at times.. and has very little lateral movement.

App St 21, UNI 16 w/2 mins to go.. App St w/the ball.

This game was a blast to watch!

I love Christmas time! You get the Lady Tigers beginning to kick ass. You get the Bowl games. You get NFL on Saturdays, and you get to watch the D I AA, DII and DIII playoffs and NC games.

Appalachian State Rocks. I've been pulling for them since the playoffs started.

I wonder how many barnyard animals will get Engagement Rings as Christmas gifts this year in AllBarn country?
