    Shockingly Rice is pounding Bogusevic.

The line score in after the 2nd:
    Tulane 0 2 1
    Rice 6 10 1

Joe Savory had to be taken out of the game due to injuring his wrist while batting. Josh Geer is pitching for Rice.

I didn't realize coach Graham lets his freshman catcher call the pitches. Very unusual.

    Still 6-0 Rice after 3.

Just got home, Rice is all over them.

Tulane scored again, but Rice is up 9-4, Bottom 7

I don't think it's shocking at all. Tulane could NOT compete with big teams when it counted this season... CSF earlier in the year, and now Rice. Rice is either severely underrated, or they stepped it up at the right time, unlike LSU.

I think it's funny when LSU fans pull for Tulane though. That's like Bama fans pulling for Auburn and vice versa... State and Ole Piss... Florida and Florida State and Miami... you get the idea.

Tulane was playing about as poorly as could be for the first 7 innings.

    Good for Rice

Tulane goes down to Rice 9-5. Bogey gets the loss.

I have to root for Coach Graham. He has been nothing but a gentleman. I'll never forget when he sent the Pontiff family the 3rd base from their stadium, the last place Wally played, and then doing the Pontiff classic with us. Geaux Rice.

I think its hilarious that so many weenies were rubbing it in that we got beat in our on Regional by Rice. Then in their first game, they score almost the same score and need a late rally to even get close to Rice (sound like any game we played ? **hint hint** Game 3 of Regionals). Weenies didn't even have to hit Rice's ace b/c he went out with an injury. Im sure Rice will throw Degerman tommorow and close this series out, knocking Tulane back down to earth.

In other news, GTech folds again and loses 2 in a row to Tennessee to miss Omaha yet again. Nebraska beats Miami into submission. Be interesting to see how the rest play out, I hope I get to see the Horns/Ole Priss series. It should be a good one.

Florida up 1-0 on the Noles
Rice up 1-0 on the Weenies (haha McCoy)
    Nebraska - Omaha beat Miami
Cal St. Fullerton up 1-0 (on a bull**** balk call) on the SunDevils
    Tennessee - Omaha over GTech
    Oregon St./USC - Game 1 tonight
    Clemson 1-0 on the Baylor
    Texas/Ole Priss - Game 1 tonight
