I'm sure that Alec Baldwin won't give up his aisle seat on the first thing smokin to Canada now that the American public has voted to disallow you from ever being able to use the, "President-appointed" term again...

3,000,000+ vote swing...He wins Florida, and a few other states that went blue in '00...and what's this...10 states ban gay marriage, to go along with Louisiana's 80% saying they're against it as well?

Post-voting interviews and research suggests that the main factor amongst those who voted for Bush? The difference in morals from one candidate to the next.

One who never stood up to give a clear platform of what he truly would do differently.

One who actively stood up and stood on his record and his past performances.

One who never explained his vote AGAINST the '91 military action in Kuwait, not even to his Hollywood friends like Ron Silver...and one who never explained anything other than talking about the mistakes of the opposing candidate.

Bottom line...Nobody likes a cynic. They're like a broken record...Even if they're playing you favorite song, after awhile, the hook gets stale, and you long for something fresh and new.

Sure, Kerry pointed out some wonderful points of discussion within the Bush Administration...but what specifically did he point to as things he would literally change and modify?

President-appointed to the triumphant incumbent...and the Democrats have the ignominious and dubious distinction of losing even more spots in both houses of Congress, as well as being the first Minority Party in Congress to lose a Minority Leader in a HALF CENTURY...

The mandate is clear, and the reasoning solid and valid...Republicans and Conservative Politics are the past, the present, and the future for this great nation. No world tests, or international subjugation, or sacrifice of sovreignty in the name of permanent unilateral geopolitical activity.

We still control our own destiny...The Shining City on the Hill is still lit brightly as the stars come out, as we await the dawn of a new day...

you have an amusing ability to say things i mostly agree with, but to say them in such a displeasing way as to make them a thankless chore to read.

martin...think of it this way...if you don't like reading it, think of how wonderful of a read Rex will find it...

He's the reason Preparation-H was invented. He serves no useful purpose on this site, in any way, shape, or form, and again, his antics are well documented here and elsewhere. A lack of accountability while an unhealthy ability to totally ignore when he's totally wrong about something does nothing for this portion of the site, and for Tiger Forums as a whole.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen Crawfish lately, either. SmaxCom reared
his ugly head for a couple of posts on Monday, but he vanished as quickly
as he reappeared. So far, only the fairly reasonable part of the left wing of TF, i.e., Red and LSU99 have shown up post-election...and Red still seems kind of pissed off and defensive.

Did Rex, Crawfish and SmaxCom really have THAT much invested in this election? So much that they can't at least be man enough to come back and post to a bunch of anonymous strangers?

Says a lot about the character (or lack thereof) of the radical left.

    Hahaha.

I find it amusing that rightwingers are so afraid of dialogue.

So, I serve no useful purpose on this forum? Tell me, TigerEducated, what is YOUR useful purpose? There are many others here who proclaim to agree with you, as vague as your rightwing rhetoric is, so why is it that anybody should consider you anything more than redundant here? In fact, if your name weren't at the top of your post I doubt that I could have indentified you as the poster.

What's your eagerness to get rid of a minority voice on a political discussion board? Don't bother to answer, because I already know, and you already know. But for other others, let me just remind them that you were proven wrong about an essay I wrote and thus harbor a lot of resentment. Let it go; it's unbecoming.

Also, if you don't wish me posting on this site why did you ask where I was, and dare me to respond? Start making sense.

Here's something else for you to grasp, TigerEducated. Just because a majority of people in this country voted for George Bush (which at this point we are forced to accept on faith, alone... but I'll address that in a separate thread) doesn't mean you are morally correct about anything, or that your positions are those that are best for our country. Nor does it mean that George Bush told the truth about anything, fulfilled his National Guard obligations, or invaded Iraq for legitimate reasons.

Do you know what a non sequitur is, TE? Maybe you should learn, because then you might be able to avoid committing another like the giant one that is your post.

You don't even know me, JSRacingBBF

What entitles you to speak about me in that fashion?

Please keep these discussions focused on the issues. Thank you.

And the wailing and gnashing of teeth by the Dems continues. You lost in 2000 (look up "Electoral College) and you lost in 2004 by 4 Million votes and over 50 EC votes. You don't have to like, or even support, the President. But you should accept that you are in the minority. Just look at this and let your eyes see what your mind cannot seem to grasp:
