Louisiana John McCain: 58.6% (1,147,603 votes) Barack Obama: 39.9% (780,981 votes) Ron Paul: 0.5% (9,353 votes) Cynthia McKinney: 0.5% (9,184 votes) Ralph Nader: 0.4% (6,991 votes) Chuck Baldwin: 0.1%
Rex, I cool with you, but damn man, thats not saying much, because there was 9,184 idiots that voted for Cynthia McKinney.:rolleye33:
I agree with you that Ron Paul would be a good prez (better than Obama, for sure,) but why waste a vote on someone who has NO chance in hell? It's better to let checks and balances work and nominate a republican nominee.
I think I heard it best this mornign on W&J who by the way supported McCain soley on the idea that they didn't like Obama. This isn't a betting thing where you bet on a candidate and they won. (well some people might have placed bets in Vegas etc.) This is a voicing your opinion on who you want to represent you to the rest of the world and to protect you and etc. So it doesn't matter who you voted for but that you voted and voiced your opinion or concern. Just because the candidate you supported didn't win doesn't make it wrong or stupid because you got a chance to do what a lot of people around the world don't get to do.
