Knew you didn't mean any disrespect to the Armed Forces. Just figured you didn't know the Aggie Corps of Cadets history and purpose. Thanks for your service - you men mean more to us than you will ever know! :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:
Did you know that Texas A&M was all male and participation in the Corps of Cadets was MANDATORY until 1965? It was essentially a military college. That's where the all male yell-leader tradition comes from... don't know if it's still all male.
Baylor's position:......... Littlest fish nobody really wants. Baylor's strategy: ........They are going to save their conference Conclusion: Baylor will litigate, along with a couple of wussy cohorts,.. delaying the inevitable, while pissing off just about everybody else. No matter what Baylor does, eventually, their conference is going to split up. When Baylor's, sue to save, strategy fails, and they need a new home. Other conferences will ask,.. Why would we want to invite Baylor to join us? Very poor strategy, they should be kissing ass, trying to find a new conference,.....Not acting like a stinker.
You do realize that what you just said is the exact same reason A&M had the most servicemen in active duty during WW2? Basically, if you agreed to go to A&M you were in the corp. Don't forget the fact that all the service academies were stringent on guidelines to get in. Enrollment rates were less. Also, most of the "corp" defer not to join active military duty. I don't know the exact percentage but I know for a fact the majority do not enlist.
