We’ve reached the point where the word “retard” is considered racist. that’s fucked up and anyone who believes that is retarded.
What I got out of the way you phrased it was the opposite of being united in the freedom to dissent from the established norm. That in light of the fact that soon the established norm will be that freedom do dissent will be prohibited. You can surely see that is already happening
Lol, kinda what I said with just a hint of hope that permanent damage is not served to both sides. Seems unlikely though when everyone is rattling their swords and postering for a permanent division? Don't get me wrong, what has happened from big tech is a giant bag of bullshit and more antagonistic than that of what they perceive otherwise, but I also think there are means to undermine their efforts without starting a civil war over it. There may be a big enough ally who has the means to do so. We'll see
North Idaho Internet Provider Stands Up to Big Tech, Blocks Facebook and Twitter on its Service For Some Customers (thegatewaypundit.com) This is going to get interesting if the Web Providers tell Twitter and Facebook to kiss their asses. This provider already has.
The VP Elect sent a letter to twitter in 2019 to do such. https://www.mediaite.com/trump/kama...sey-urging-twitter-to-suspend-trumps-account/ At the time, twitter did say no. Interesting as soon as Jan 6 rolls around, boom. Mass blackout. I think the coordinated assaults, mainly on Parler and GAB will result in interesting Anti Trust cases.
Parler has filed an antitrust case against amzn citing terms of service but Amazon maintains they’ve given previous warnings. from what I’ve read the parler case is on shaky ground due to those repeated warnings. we’ll see...
I think the biggest thing parler has going for it is Twitter leaving up all the horrendous threats up made towards Trump et al. Hell, the day they banned Trump #HangPence was #1 in trending. I mean, they still dont ban actual terrorists. I mean, all the BLM riots were on twitter. They didnt block that shit... I say this because Twitter is on the AWS services as well.
