That scrappy team played us tight. We led 14-0 in the 3rd quarter and ASU was driving and they threw a deep post to a wide open receiver....I mean he must have had 5 yards on the closest DB and their WR let the ball go right between his hands around the 3 yard line. Dropped an easy ball that wouldve made it 14-7. Thank God he did because we may have gone through what Michigan is going through now......which is utter humiliation.
The scholarship limits are allowing these second tier schools to recruit some pretty damn good players now. The App State upset of Michigan should keep us safe from underestimating Middle Tennesse State in a couple weeks. Go Tigers!

Yes, they had a good team then and are a good football program. I also thought how classy it was of their student body to send money for LSU students impacted by Katrina. I have been a fan of the school since then. That said, Michigan should have beat them.

I was at that game. I was not impressed with the effort on either line of scrimmage. We underestimated that opponent; it will NOT happen again.

Appys QB now plays with the vikings. I think we were all expecting 50 to nothing but Appy played extremely tough against us.:geauxtige

Yeah, no letdown against Mid Tenn St. 45-7 final.
But holy moly this game against VT is starting the butterflies in my gut already. LSU wins on the strength of a blocked FG return for a TD with 7:32 in the 4th quarter......16-10
