Doesn't this really help our recruiting as well? Couldn't this sway some boarder line recruits to come to LSU if they know they have a good chance to win an SEC title and a National Championship?
Here's what I think...Saban & Co. offer a scholarship to a good defensive prospect. The kid HAS to look at what our defense has done and think two things: 1) If this coach wants me, I must have a great future & 2) This staff can coach me to become an even better player. In short, the players should jump on board quick! Offensive players (are you listen Early?) will see that LSU has a very good QB this year (and maybe staying for his last year) and has two studs in the stable just chomping at the bit to get involved. RB's may look and say, "I will be forever getting in to play", but that seems to be the least of our worried right now. Actually, the only worry I have is what happens with the BcS today...
