Most likely Joe McKnight and Chad Jones. We also have a few other fives stars giving us serious consideration.
We have four of them that show significant interest in LSU: McKnight, Jones, Toliver, Devine If LSU gets all 4 they will be in a dead heat with Texas to win this year's recruiting race. No one else has a chance at taking a shot at Texas. USC has too few schollies to finish that high.
That may be true islstl, but USC continues to get almost all 4 and 5 star players they will have brought in the best class yet again.
And they still choked against UCLA ! Recruits are the lifeblood of any college program but you still have to play the game.
Not sure what your point is. They'll have the best quality recruiting class by far, no argument there. But in terms of the recruiting race they won't compete cuz they can't bring in enough in terms of numbers.
don't forget the loss to OSU and both Washington and Washington St. were 6point margins.....one of them ended with Wash. or Washington St. driving and in USC territory and some time management issues allowed them to pull that one off.
According to Rivals.com, Nick's recruiting classes from his last three years averaged 3.48 stars per recruit. Miles' classes from his first two years averaged 3.66 stars per recruit. This years class with 19 recruits so far averages 3.58 stars per recruit. Les Miles is recruiting better than Nick. People who persist in using the "Miles wins with Nicks players" line will look increasingly foolish.
Thanks red, I have posted essentially the same thing, in response to that knock on Miles, so many times I couldn't muster the energy to say it again. :thumb:
