I just heard on the radio, here in florida, that Mark Richt has information on a school from the SEC and a school from the ACC that offered an unnamed recruit money. The Rivals.com writer said that Mark told the recruit he would report the violations if the recruit did not attend Georgia. He reported that Mark may name names anyway. He did not say whether the unnamed recruit signed with GA. He also did not say what schools offered the money. I hope this does not involve LSU. I can think of a certain safety recruit that made a signing day decision to sign w/ GA over Miami and LSU.
I have seen this rumor on at least a dozen (probably more) message forums in the last month. LSU wasn't the school that was implied from the SEC.
I don't think any school has been "implied" so far. The only info I can find is a school from the SEC and a school from the ACC.
nah, LSU was out of the running once Richt declared his undying love for Jones. It wasn't about the money.
This rumor has been running rampant on all the boards lately. I'm surprised it hadn't made it to this one before now. Auburn is the only school I've seen mentioned with it. But this is just some stupid rumor left over from recruiting season. All the Georgia people are saying they have no idea where the rumor started and they have never heard of it.
