Don't underestimate the fact that Frank Wilson was hired at Ole Miss, guys...

This guy was the one who "broke the floodgates" in New Orleans for LSU in recent years...He & Pete Jenkins helped LSU turn Nawlins from "The Forbidden City" into "The Big Easy" for Football Recruiting.

He was in the running to get an assistant coaching position to help bolster the recruiting efforts (He did wonders down in New Orleans as a HC), but some NCAA worries kept them-both LSU and Wilson-at arm's reach.

Wilson is respected in every kitchen in the inner city, and brings a classy, no nonsense approach to his coaching, and was an amazingly adept navigator of the back channels of New Orleans high school football.

This is a coup for Ole Miss...I'm not saying that they're going to seal off the city...But we need to make sure we batten down the hatches there before Wilson starts to sneak a few out each year.

This is a great example of how Karl Dunbar is a perfect hire for LSU, as he still calls on and utilizes Pete Jenkins, and will continue to use him as well as his own personal connections to open up doors and warm up New Orleans mamas...

    Just something to watch for...
