The media is running out of favorites to pump up to the voters and fans.
Ducks- espn loves them some ducks- 2 loses
Stanford - hasn't played anyone. The one half arsed team they played, they lost to at home.
    Ou- 2 loses
    Ohio state- no chance
    USC- cheaters on probation
Texas - piss poor this year
who's left? The media doesn't really like osu. They have one loss. If they win their conference game and beat ou they might have a chance.

That leads us to the media darling and their tin god coach. The media has so much clout invested in bama after pumping them and saban up all year that they can't miss the chance to be vindicated. Bama must play and win in the bcsnc for many of these butt- hurt fairies to save face. You can bet your arse that if bama and lsu were to swap places none of these worms , like Robert phucking smith , would be screaming for a rematch. I hope Robert smith gets hemmoroids so bad that he has to have six anal surgeries and wears a diaper the rest of his life. That would be a just fit for him being such an arsehole.

Bama is good but you seem a little in awe of them. You are certainly more impressed by them than I am. They've only beaten 3 teams with a winning record. I wrongly predicted a double digit win against them and still think that would have happened if JL hadn't had his worst game in over a year. LSU is capable of blowing out Bama.

I'm not convinced they are so markedly better than other possible contenders that they are "the real no. 2." Bama plays tight in big games and is capable of laying an egg. They just gave up 300 yards rushing to a cupcake. They embarrassed the SEC against Utah. An equally strong case can be made that another one loss team that hasnt had a crack at LSU deserves a shot.

Exactly. What burns me up is that out of all the teams that could have such a fricking unbelievable run of luck (ie all the other teams laying eggs last week), it had to be Alabama. And we get to play Georgia while Alabama sits on their asses taking notes about LSU and already pencilled into the NCG? You couldn't make this stuff up.

As I am too. I think it's sad, their SOS is embarrassing... A win over R-Kansas is their only claim to fame, a team we'll dominate in 3 days. PSU will drop another, as well as the Gumps couldn't score a single TD at home against our defense, as a 5.5 point or whatever favorite. They don't win their division let alone even sniff the SECCG, and yet everyone wants them in the big game. Sounds like a crock of chit to me. Hell might as well just cancel the rest of the season and award them the trophy. But if it happens and a month to prepare, Miles will own that biatch again.

I suspect you may be confusing what those media members believe with what they actually write and say in order to make their living. :thumb:

Doesn't count...meaningless. The loser won and the winner lost.

I'm not convinced that Alabama is the "real no. 2" either. A loss and an "egg" in their last 2 games and as has been pointed out not much before that and yet people, even on this board. are lobbying to give them a free ride into the NCG.

I tell you I just don't know any more.
