    Best quote of the article:

"Every great player drops a touchdown pass," Bowe said. "I'm just happy I got mine out of the way early. That will be the last one, guaranteed."

Jamarcus must be hurt. At the end of the game, when he threw the hail mary pass, it only went 60 yards in the air.

But if he is so hurt that he cant go down field, why even play him?

I don't think him being injured was the reason at all, but I also still dont think the playcalling was bad

Yeah, but it went 200 yards up in the air. Did you see how high that thing went, DAMN.

A 31-yard pass to Bowe? A 41-yard pass to Davis?

We call this going deep where I come from.

I agree, even hurt he could put the mustard on it. I saw the throws to the sidelines. I saw the post patterns. Long throws all. Cox threw many, many more short passes over the middle. Even JR's ball handling was good enough to make the safeties bite and open up the lanes. Most importantly he was making those throws against a defense with speed. His margin for error was small. The incremental improvements will become more pronounced, and it will happen soon.

even as much as I criticize JR, it may be because the coaches feel like he is the best we have. best chance to win.

Not sure you were talking about JR, but I was very impressed/surprised at Auburn's defensive speed. I don't recall any missed tackles either. That was a very good team LSU beat last night and, personally, I am extremely happy with the win. I have no complaints at all.
