    This USC team is outstanding, but why is everyone so sure that this is the nation’s second best team? Are they basing this on wins? The Auburn victory was great, but beating Arizona State, Notre Dame, Washington and Washington State really isn’t that big a deal. Is losing to Cal in overtime better than losing to Florida? Where’s the love for LSU as the nation’s second best team? The Tigers also have a dominant win over Auburn and the win over Georgia is better than anything the Trojans have done. LSU matches up well, if not better than USC with a defense that’s just as good, receivers that are just as explosive, a veteran quarterback who’s playing well, and an offensive line as good as any in the country. I’m not saying USC isn’t necessarily number two; I’m just saying it’s not a slam-dunk.

    I can't believe Ohio State is above LSU in the BCS

    College football news and CBS sportsline are the only 2 media outlets that are giving LSU any credit for anything. I think that CBS's deal with the SEC has a little to do with thier opinons (not that they are lying or anything, but the reporters pay more attention to the SEC maybe), and CFN obviously has watched the teams play and know what they can do.

    I try so hard not to believe the West Coast and East Coast bias, but man it is sure showing right now. No other conference has the competition level that the SEC has period, and I know other conferences realize this and so do the "so called" expert analyist

    Funny, the only guys that watch and report College Football year round are the same guys who think LSU should be number 2....Maybe Trev Alberts needs to learn how to use a computer and check out these guys...

    feels nice to get some of that recon. that we have been wanting, it is still lurking in the shadows. When LSU wins out and wins the SECCG they can no longer turn away. 2001..... By the way who ever we play in a bowl we will wack. Then we should send them a invoice for labor.
