First of all let me say that rankings are irrelevant to me personally, but, If I am correct, they do affect BCS standings. So my question to everyone who cares to put their opinion in, Why does Miami continue to be ranked above us? Objectively, does anyone really believe Miami is a better team than LSU? Some food for thought....

Miami (6-1; 3-1 ACC) They have played 2 top 20 teams, and lost to 1 (FSU)
LSU (6-1; 5-1 SEC) We have played 4 top 20 teams, losing to only 1 (Tenn)

i'm annoyed by Notre Dame's ranking... 2 loses and above many 1 loss teams... all because they played USC close... so did standford last year but no one was slopping their c*cks... The pollsters are going to will Notre Dame into the BCS, despite the recommendations of the computers...

If ND wins 9, they are automatically in the BCS...

Because dispite what you think, they are pretty good. They lost 2 VERY close games and they didn't just get lucky and play USC well like Stanford did last year. They played them very well. Oh and im not blowing ND by any means. I HATE ND with a passion. Wait till you see what they do to Tennessee...

miami's ranking ahead of lsu follows the general trends of the polls-you lose, you go to the end of the line. obviously, this holds only for teams of similar reputation. lsu did get screwed by being jumped by miami during bye week but not jumping miami during their bye.

Only the final rankings matter. Miami vs. Va Tech will solve this problem. It Miami wins, they deserve the ranking. If not, they drop. Same thing will happen with LSU vs. Bama and USC vs. UCLA.
