When a team's schedule is considered, are wins and losses against ranked opponents counted as what the team was ranked at the time or what the team is ranked now?

For example, did LSU lose to a #10 Tennessee team or a #25 one?

Unless they've changed it, we beat a #25 team. I've long advocated taking the ranking of the team when they were beat...why else have subjective rankings, if you think they mean so little as to not count them when you beat a team - why should they matter at all?

i'm pretty sure that all the computers evaluate SOS weekly. I think this is the fairest way. Only the final SOS matters.

For the most part all computers take SOS as the end result at the end of the season. There are a few computers, however, that consider gametime ranking. I know that Richard Billingsley's computer leans a little more toward gameday rankings. Colley Matrix I know takes no consideration to gameday ranking, and only considers the end ranking. As for the other computers, I'm not entirely sure because they are really secretive with their formulas.
